Christmas Card Making by: Calli  (11/12/2008)

My plan every year is to start earlier on my Holiday card making, what actual happens is I block off the day after Thanksgiving - avoid the crazy shopping crowds - and get down to some serious card making. I try to spend the weekend prior organizing my supplies to make sure I have what I need so I can spend my time creating cards, not searching through my scrap room. I love to make cards and I'm always looking for coordinated kits that deliver lots of items for a great value. If you are looking to add to your holiday stash, like me, then you'll definitely want our Christmas Card Making Value Kit. Peyton's Place by: Calli  (9/29/2008)

I’m on a bit of a pet kick here. I was flipping through Die Cuts With A View Pet Stack and was totally inspired. I had just shot some pictures of Peyton in the backyard with her new favorite toy – her frisbee. I took one look at the cute doghouse on the cover and knew I wanted to create an extra special way to honor my favorite furry friend. I created a small paper dog house from various prints and then cut out her picture and tucked her inside her homemade dog house. Cute, huh? I know I am much better at creating a paper dog house rather than a real one (lol).

The Pet Stack is great for cat lovers as well! The papers are a colorful, fun assortment of 24 styles, 2 of each style – half have glossy accents. The mat stack (a must have) has 72 sheets, 3 each of 24 different styles – again half with glossy accents. If your furry friend is a member of the family like mine, you’re sure to love these papers. Peyton gives them an enthusiastic wag.

Reminiscing by: Calli  (9/15/2008)

OK, I’ll be the first to admit; sometimes I can be easily distracted. Harry was away on a business trip and my grand plan was to catch up on filing of photos. I have hundreds of photos that I’ve been meaning to organize. With plenty of floor space to sort into categories, I got started and I really was making good progress until I got to a stack of photos of our first dog Cocoa. I have lots of layouts of her, but there’s always room for one more, right? She was such a fun, expressive dog and we had so much fun together. So, I poured through the stack of photos and selected my favorites. Then set aside all the rest of the photos and had fun looking through my paper stash until I found just the right paper. The layout is very clean and simple, so it didn’t take long. Then it was back to organizing right? Wrong – in looking through my papers, I came across the perfect papers for a Get Well card for my friend and birthday card for my niece. So, I wound up creating instead of organizing. But, I think that’s okay – I had a good time remembering my good, furry friend.
